How to Make Hot & Cold Brew Iced Tea

Nothing compares to a tall glass of iced tea, especially on a hot summer day. No matter your choice of tea leaves or bags, iced tea is the way to go for a delicious and refreshing drink.
You can use loose leaf teas or tea sachets, but we truly recommend organic loose leaf teas for best results.
There are two methods for making iced tea: Cold-brewed and hot-brewed. We’ll explore both methods in this blog post. Enjoy!
Use 1 teaspoon of loose-leaf tea per 6 to 8 ounces of water, depending on desired strength
 
Cold-Brewed Iced Tea Instructions
What you’ll need:
Cold Brew Instructions:
  • Scoop 10-20g of loose leaf tea or coffee into the filter infuser.
  • Screw filter onto the lid.
  • Fill bottle with cool filtered water.
  • Place lid on securely.
  • Let it steep in the fridge for 3-8 hours.
  • Pour and enjoy!
     
    Hot-Brewed Iced Tea Instructions
    What you’ll need:
    Hot Brew Instructions:
    1. Put tea in pitcher
    2. Fill pitcher part way with hot water
    3. Cover pitcher and let sit for 2x the suggested brewing time on bag (eg. 4 min becomes 8 min)
    4. Strain out tea leaves
    5. Add room temperature water to hot tea
    6. Stir well and pour into glasses over ice
    7. Enjoy!
